Announcements share important product or service information inside the app. They may contain a short message, more details, or a link to the next step.

Families and coaches can view announcements intended for them.

View-only feature: Family and coach users cannot create, edit, publish, or schedule announcements. They are managed centrally by the Littles Baby Tracker team.

• Read an announcement shown in the app.
• Expand a longer announcement.
• Follow its link when one is provided.
• Dismiss it when the announcement allows this.
• Review current and past coach announcements in the coach portal.

1. Look for the announcement banner near the top of the current screen.
2. Select it to expand the message when more detail is available.
3. Follow the action link if the announcement asks you to complete a task.
4. Close the banner if a close option is shown.

Some announcements cannot be dismissed because they contain an important required action. In that case, use the supplied action to learn more or complete the next step.

Coaches can open the notifications area of the coach portal to review announcements.

1. Use the current view for active messages.
2. Use the past view for older messages.
3. Open an item to read its full details.

This area is an announcement inbox only. Family-activity alerts are shown separately.

• You see only announcements intended for your account type and device.
• Some announcements are shown only during a particular date range.
• Higher-priority messages may appear before other announcements.
• After you read, dismiss, or follow an announcement, it may no longer appear on your home screen.
• A link may open another part of the app or a trusted page in your browser.
• Announcement loading does not prevent you from using the rest of the page.
• Families and coaches have view-only access; announcement authoring is not available in their portals.

• If an announcement disappears after you interact with it, check the coach portal history if you are a coach.
• If a link does not open, check your connection and try the announcement again.
• If no banner appears, there may simply be no active announcement for you.
• If a message looks out of date, refresh the screen.
• For help with a required action, use the support options in the app.
