Track daily activities

The seven care trackers help families and authorized coaches record a baby's day. Tracking remains available even when premium Analysis is not active.

Who this guide is for

  • Family members recording and correcting care activities.
  • Coaches who have permission to view or edit a supported family's activities.

Before you begin

Check the selected baby's name at the top of the tracker. If it is wrong, use the baby switcher before entering any details.

You can open a tracker from Family Home. Depending on the tracker, you can use a quick action, start a timer or open the full manual form.

What each tracker records

Tracker Details you can record
Breastfeed Date, start and end times, left or right side, and an optional note.
Bottles Date and time, amount, ml or oz, breast milk or formula, and an optional note.
Sleep Start and end times, day or night sleep, mood, environment, settling time and an optional note.
Nappies Date and time, wet or dirty status, an optional image and note.
Pumping Start and end times, side, amount, ml or oz, and an optional note.
Medication Date and time, medication name and an optional note.
Solids Date and time, meal notes, reactions, accidental exposure and an optional Allergy Ladder stage.

Amounts must be greater than zero. A nappy must be marked wet, dirty or both. Medication needs a name. If you report a reaction or accidental exposure under Solids, add the requested explanation.

Save a new activity

  1. Open the correct tracker for the selected baby.
  2. Choose a quick action, timer or full entry form.
  3. Check the date, time and tracker-specific details.
  4. Add a family note if useful.
  5. Save the entry.

Breastfeed, Sleep and Pumping can use timers. See Use activity timers.

Sleep entries may show a warning when they overlap another sleep or leave an unusual gap. Review the times and either correct them or confirm that they are intentional.

Review older entries

Tracker history is grouped by the family's local date with the newest records first. Use the older-history action to load more.

  • Range activities show their start, end and duration.
  • The Solids tracker can show reactions only.
  • Overnight Sleep entries follow the same sleep day used by Home and Analysis.

Edit or delete an activity

Select an item in tracker history, Family Home or an Analysis chart. Make the correction and save, or use the delete option when available.

If the item changed somewhere else while you had it open, the app asks you to reload it before saving. This protects newer information from being overwritten.

Family notes and coach access

Family notes remain part of the family record. A coach can read them only when permitted. A coach edit does not replace the family's note; coach-only context belongs in private coach notes.

A read-only coach can view activities but cannot create, edit or delete them. Access can end immediately if the support relationship or permissions change.

Using tracking with a poor connection

When a family records a new activity for its own household, the activity can be kept as pending and retried when the connection returns. A pending or failed item appears in the matching tracker, where the family can retry or discard it.

Coaches recording activity for a supported family must reconnect before saving.

Edits and deletions of existing records are not saved for later. Complete those actions while online and wait for confirmation before leaving the screen.

If something goes wrong

  • You cannot save: check the required fields and the start/end times shown on the form.
  • An entry is pending: reconnect, then use retry. Avoid creating the same event again while it is still pending.
  • Older history will not load: keep the entries already shown and try loading more again later.
  • An image failed: the rest of a Nappy entry remains available; retry the image when connected.
  • Coach editing stopped working: refresh the family view and confirm the current permission with the practice owner.
